Abstract competition

Medicine 2021 will host a virtual poster and abstract showcase as part of our digital event space. This will comprise the successful Medicine 2020 published abstracts and the late-breaking COVID-19 specific submissions. To read the shortlisted abstracts, click here. We are delighted to offer a dedicated e-poster presentation gallery for delegates to view at their leisure. Submissions will be grouped under the following themes:

• Clinical
• COVID-19
• Education, training and medical professionalism
• Health services and policy
• Quality improvement and patient safety
• Research and innovation

In addition to publication in one of the RCP’s journals all those submitting ePosters have the opportunity to provide a supplementary a 3-minute PowerPoint oral presentation at Medicine 2021. The prizes will remain as:

• the presenter of the winning abstract will receive £1,000
• two runners-up will both receive £500 each
• all successful abstracts will be published in one of the RCP’s journals after the Medicine 2021 conference
• presenters of the winning abstracts will each receive two tickets for the Harveian Oration and dinner in October 2021.
